Sunday September 26 parliamentary elections occurred in Venezuela. The purpose was to seek a better balance of power between the ruling party: the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) and the Bureau of Democratic Unity (MUD), a set of 15 games together with a common goal.
These were very important elections because the ruling party controlled all the seats in the Assembly and was very necessary to seek a better balance of powers.
The result: they voted about 11 million people, of whom 51% were opposed and 49% to the government. Ie in the country there is a clear polarization.
The ruling won 98 deputies and 67 opposition MPs to give a total of 165 deputies. With this result any political forces has an absolute majority and therefore in this assembly will be necessary to negotiate.
